         <description><![CDATA[<div>- Implemented in the 2012-2013 school year<br>- Students must pass the Algebra I, Literature, and Biology exams before graduation<br>-Developments are still in progress, and new tests to assess other subjects such as Chemistry, U.S. History, English Composition, World History, etc. are being designed.&nbsp;<br>-Students with high scores on the AP Biology, Algebra, or Literature tests are permitted to be exempt from these Keystones.<br>- Special education students can also be entirely exempt from the Keystones.&nbsp;<br>- Parents can opt out their children for religious reasons.</div>]]></description>

Also loos at science, arts, geography, U.S. History, technology, and engineering.<br>-Measured&nbsp; at the federal level, and goes all the way down to the district level.<br>-Reported in scale scores (Basic, Proficient, and Advanced), and achievement levels.</div>]]></description>
