Dr. Dweck described the atmosphere of students in the Bronx classroom as seemingly behind starting in Kindergarten. Exposing them to the growth mindset started with how to grip a pencil and perceiving the possibilities to growth made by this same subgroup in 4th grade was top in the nation.
