Julius Ceasar who first came to Britain in 55 BC, conquered the lands we now call England and Wales.
The Romans founded towns like London and york which were connected with roads.
Hadrian's wall which was built in the north of England protected the Empire against the Picts from Scotland.
The Britain began to attack the Romans,the Celts were sorry to say goodbye.

The Anglo-Saxons who were germanic people began to attack Britain from about 400 AD.
The Celts whose houses were attacked by the Anglo Saxons lived peacefully with them.
The Anglo-Saxons pushed the Celts into far corners of Britain which were in Cornwall,Wales and Scotland.
The Anglo-Saxons divided the country into 7 kingdoms which had their own king and became known as England later.
