It's 2021, and I have no idea how they can just... be so horrible without thinking. It makes me ashamed to be white and I was really hoping that the protests over the summer would help change things, despite all the police backlash, but it seems like nothing changed at all. I personally feel that this event was poorly handled and that Americans have now seen a good illustration of racism. I'm embarrassed of this event because it makes our country look weak and that can cause more danger.
