1) Leiper’s tourism system model (1979) explains tourism as a dynamic and interconnected system that involves the movement of people thought space. According to leiper for tourism to exist, there must be three distinct geographical elements that interact with each other, it’s a tourist generating region (TGR), the transit route region (TRR) and the tourist destination region (TDR). TGR is the area where tourists originate from. It represents the push factors that motivate people to travel such as need to relax and escape from routine. Furthermore tourist transit route (TRR) serves the connection between the origin and the destination. It includes transport network, airport, highway and stopover location that makes travel possible. The TRR is essential because it influences accessibility, travel experience and convenience. Without this region ,the movement of tourists from their home to desti Could not occur. In addition, tourist destinations region(TDR) is where tourists spend most of their time and money. It contains the pull factors such as attraction ,natural beauty, culture and entertainment that draw tourists to visit. This region is the focus of tourism activities and the main area where the economic and social impact of tourism take the place.

2) Tourist generating region (TGR) push factors such as internal motivation that make people want travel because can relaxation, escape from routine or adventure at another country. Meanwhile tourist destinations region pull factors operate as external attraction that draw tourists such as beautiful scenery, cultured sites or entertainment.

3) Tokyo as a development country industrial (DCI) destination, is characterised by advanced urban infrastructure, modern lifestyle and high level of technology development. The pull factors include modern city experience and cultural urban attractions, business tourism and cultural urban attraction such as museums, festival and art district. Its strong economic development allows for world class infrastructure, reliable transportation and facilities that support high-end. Meanwhile langkawi as a developing country village destination, offers a very different culture and natural view. The pull factors include of langkawi are based on natural beauty, tropical environments, local culture and relaxing lifestyle. The island slower pace of economic development means its tourism industry focuses more on cultura, heritage and natural beauty which is local identity.

4) Tokyo have challenges different significantly from those langkawi because Tokyo have land scarcity and limited space for tourism expansion, traffic and need for an efficient public transportation system and high construction and land cost, which make sustainable or budget tourism development difficult. Meanwhile langkawi maintain balance between tourism development and the preservation of local culture and community life
