never ending. I find learning to some something never ending. Even as a teacher I will always be learning everyday with my students. From the White Fragility reading, "...already had a class on this..." or "Already know this" reminds me of myself because I said those exact word when we evaluated ourselves last semester. Now after reading that article I realize that was white Fragility. I now realize I need to know a lot more if I am wanting to be an urban education teacher.

it bothers me to think that education became the standard for every child, just to prevent crime. Thinking about it deeply, it makes since. School is the only public place that all children are at in order to get children to conform how the dominate narrative wants. Also with my current event that I posted for week one. The community/school board wanted students to go to a PBL school to help steer the student out of trouble.

I (the teacher) am culturally relevant in the classroom. "Prospective teachers can also learn what

questions to ask about students’ family back grounds, educational experiences, and cultural norms and values". As I teacher it is crucial to be connected with my students. Knowing my students background, cultures, history, the small details in which makes my students them, this will allow to succeed in the classroom. If students feel comfortable, respected, acknowledged they will do better in school.
