He has been complaining over the last 2 days of right lower quadrant pain with guarding and rigidity, stooped posture, nausea, and slight constipation. His vital signs are: heart rate 135, temperature 100.9, BP 128/59, O2 sat 99%. He vomited 4 times overnight and reports a loss of appetite. His last bowel movement was yesterday and his abdomen is slightly distended. His bowel sounds are hypoactive. His lung sounds are clear. His skin is pink and warm with mild erythema on his abdomen. His pulses are +2 and capillary refill is less than 3 seconds. Benji is quiet and clings tightly to his dad.
