I realized the importance of forms which is the most important element in painting. From what I learned, artist aims to modify natural appearances that is expressive in order to create a form in art. This module also answered my question before, about the painting that were painted in the wall to express ideas, emotions and beliefs, such as decorations for tombs or temples, which is called "Mural painting." This module also gave me some ideas about kinds of subject matter, and interpreting the painting.  Before, it was so hard for me to determine if the painting is something devotional or narrative. But now, I'm able to identify the kind of subject matter the painting is. This module also helped me to identify the form, value, what kind of color, the shape, the lines, the space and the texture in a painting, because our lovely teacher taught me how to find those elements in a painting.
