No group needs to be violent toward each other if they are right or wrong.&nbsp;<br>Rhertorical Devices <br>They are also referring to the synthesis in Hegelian philosophy the principle of non violence seeks to reconcile the truths of two opposites. He is able to portray history in this. Also uses Anaphora which he is repeating non violence.<br>Effect of Device <br>&nbsp;The effect of this Allousion being used is showing a big picture and referring to Synthesis in Heligan it is something that has happened if history and it shows more of a broad explanation this showed more people on what can happen and gave hope</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Main idea: These paragraphs are stating that any African American man can protest and speak up about injustice they are receiving , and they would be heard and listened too only if they use non violent strategies.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;1-2 Rhetorical Devices Used:&nbsp;<br>Allusion- “ By nonviolent resistance, the Negro can also enlist all men of good will in his struggle for equality”&nbsp;<br>Effect of the Device:<br>When King refers to how African Americans can confide with others who are trying to fight for their equality as well. To elaborate he explains how the problem with equality isn’t between the people but with the actions of what is right versus what is unjustly done. He wants the audience which is everyone that the change from the protests will not have a greater impact if it’s just African Americans fighting but that it also needs to come from everyone, to experience the change.</div>]]></description>
