9. If I was the speaker in the poem and for a while I could speak to the moon and shadow I would feel less lonely drinking wine. It is clearly stated in the poem that the speaker was very lonely and with much drinks I was able to sing with the moon and dance with my shadow, In conclusion I would feel less lonely and enjoy drinking with my new found friends.

10. After singing and dancing with my newfound "friends", the night dims, and so does my consciousness. As I wake up and there was no moon by my side, my shadow is again emptily by my side and I shall remember that night as a dream that I long to experience again.
