- Increase the selection of LGBT+ books in the Library, and look into having a book display for LGBT+ History Month (February) or LGBT+ Pride Month (July) - BAF has spoken to ISH about this, it is achievable. 
- Create educational leaflets which can be distributed in History Month (using money raised in fundraisers).
- For LGBT+ History Month / Pride – we want to look into the idea of leading a whole school pre-recorded assembly. We would be keen not to show faces, but would consider having audio included. 
- Introduce ‘pride badges’ (like the staff pride lanyards) which students can wear on blazers to show ally-ship – this could be partly funded by our fundraising initiatives.

At the start of the year we set out to make the school more LGBTQ+ inclusive, and I believe it is safe to say, we have! 

The student voice has become ever apparent and has help guide the decisions of SLT on their next steps when it comes to LGBTQ+ inclusivity. Students helped to create an assembly centred around LGBTQ+ inclusivity, they attended numerous committee meetings to highlight issues and what changes need to be made, and also helped Mr Whittle and Mr Redding with their progress of the Rainbow Flag Award, of which, 3 pieces of the framework have been successfully completed. 

Students from the committee attended an extra-curricular trip to the theatre to watch "My sons a queer (but what can you do). There were many laughs and even some tears. All came away saying they "loved" it!

At the start of the 23-24 school year, students will work on an EDI display board in order to promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity around the school. This will also help Mr Whittle and Mr Redding with the Student Voice section of the RFA.

Earlier this year we achieved the Rainbow Flag Award - thank you to all staff and students who helped.

Extra 15 LGBTQ+ books in the library

Committee now has over 30 members - still room for more!

Met with Hayes Primary and will be looking to do some training for both staff and students.
