Day 1 Induction is held face to face in the: Ashford Education Centre, Ashford Hospital, TW15 3AA 8.45 am - 4.15 pm.

The day will start with a Welcome and Housekeeping at 8.45 am - 9 am.

Surrey Safe Care training will be arranged by IT Training. You will be sent an email with your login details, and then assigned any eLearning that you are required to complete.

Face to face training will be booked directly by the IT training department.

New Starters will be emailed their logins credentials via their NHS email address, which the IT Helpdesk will set up.

ALL new starters are to contact the IT Helpdesk direct on 01932 723588 for identity validation checks so to be able to access these accounts and receive their login details. PLEASE DO NOT CALL BEFORE YOUR OFFICIAL START DATE.

To access our Surrey Safe Care system, you will require a working smartcard associated to the ASPH Trust. This is normally completed behind the scenes as part of your onboarding process, however there are some steps that you could do to ensure a smooth smartcard acquisition.

Safeguarding Adults Level 3 is ONLY for CLINICAL STAFF

Each new starter MUST pick up their security/parking pass on their first day or within the FIRST week of joining from St Peters Travel Office or Ashford Security Office depending on which site they are based.

We will not be able to provide disposable cups at the many water stations across the Trust, please ensure you bring a water bottle when you are on-site.

If you attend training where tea and coffee is available, please bring a reusable cup.
