Using one of the vices in the RMT room, place a hollow cylinder tube horizontally in the vice and secure it firmly, ready to bend to the cylinder's size and shape. 
Clamp the end of the spoon handle to the cylinder tube with a cloth between the grip (to prevent damage).

Security check: 
Before we start bending, we check the security of the spoon; if it were to move while bending, we might seriously scratch the spoon and cause us to throw it away as waste.

Hold the clamped spoon handle and push it around the hollow cylinder tube to form the ring. Once it is bent around, remove the clamp and relocate to allow more bending on the previously covered area. Once it is bent into a circular shape, take it out of the vice and check form. 
If the ring is a circle yet, we put it back on and pinpoint the areas that aren't bending well. We then analyse the type of metal, and if we re-stock the spoons, we will be less likely to buy those types. Use a hack saw to remove the tail of the spoon so we can connect the edges and make the shape solid. This is done by taking the spoon off the cylinder and putting the curved spoon top into the vice to secure it. 

DAMAGE CHECK:
To ensure that our rings are quality for their price, we do a damage check to see whether or not the rings have any dents or scratches from the bending, cutting and clamping. 

If there is a dent or scratch, we will try our best to remove it. Using the vice hammer and an anvil to connect the ends of the rings to create a full circle. This prevents people's fingers from being pinched by the metal and gives the rings a finished, tidy look that is more appealing. To do this, we must very gently hammer the tail of the rings down until the two ends meet. Once the ends are connected, file away any access metal that might harm the user and check the shape to ensure the product's quality. This gives it a more finished look and ensures our users don't get hurt wearing our product. Mr Slough provides the files we use, and he and a few others have tough us how to use them correctly. 

LEARNING:
In the past, we have figured out that we were using the wrong file type, causing us to take a lot longer than needed in this process. This has been a crucial part of our learning journey with Mr Slough and his class.

Now that our product is complete, we need to polish them for market day. This process can also include taking photos for our marketing and using vivid to highlight the detailing in the spoon rings. 

PRE-ORDERS:
If one of the rings is a pre-order, we may be able to allow the customer to try them on and even take photos for our posts and marketing.
