Park Visits and Day Outings

No big trip for us this summer. Instead the weekends have been filled with park visits, day outings, a "Yes Day" Birthday celebration, Swimply bookings, and of course parkour. Highly recommend checking out getoutpass.com and seeing what's offered in your area!

Our big trip this summer was to Glacier National Park and Seattle to meet our nephew, Carter. At the beginning of August we adopted our new pup, Buddy! Big summer for the Barlows!

Took an end of summer trip to EL Paso for a family event. Got to do some wine testing at a beautiful vineyard!

Marcus and I met each other when we worked at Disney. The first time we took our kids there in 2021, we learned none of kids liked to ride rides. So we needed a do-over. Guess what… they still don’t like rides. But we had fun anyways. I told them we’d try again in 10 years- and they were okay with that;)

This was the unforgettable summer in Japan—an adventure that began with dropping off my eldest for a HS cultural immersion program, and unfolded into a journey across the country with my middle daughter. While we didn’t snap many photos together because she's 13 (enuff said) and it was blazing hot and humid, my photo roll tells a story of delicious food, breathtaking landscapes, and the delight and whimsy that only Japan can offer.
