So those at home can still follow the lesson in school.

It is not necessary the best method to deliver the lesson as:
1) those at home have distractions
2) those in school feels it is unfair as they need to wake up and come to school while their friends can have their lesson in the comfort of their own home.
3) the teacher cannot gauge how well those at home are giving their attention.
