In Turkey, most of the racist comments or acts are towards people of Romani or African descent. Society tends to exclude Romani people because of their culture and African people because of their skin colour. And the main reason for this exclusion is probably the way people choose to act when they meet someone who has skin colour, culture, ethnicity or beliefs different from theirs, which are shared by the majority. I found out that in the year 2010, there were about 2 million Romani people in Turkey which is only about 3% of the population that year. I also saw that this being the ground of their thoughts, an important amount of people on the internet claim that there isn’t racism in Turkey. Because Romani or African people are a minority of the population, they think racism is very rare. They go further to say that there isn't racism at all! Thinking that there isn’t a problem, while there is a problem and we know that there is, is the biggest obstacle to overcome that problem. In civilized conversation, racial slurs are being used and offensive thoughts are being stated. And sadly, some of them come from people who claim that they aren’t racists. Just because there doesn’t seem to be anyone around us who might get offended by what we say, doesn’t mean we can say whatever we want! If we want to put an end to racism, we must realise that our differences make us unique. We must know that our skin colour or ethnicity puts no barriers to friendship or love. We must always spread love and not negativity.

For the second question, I wanted to research about African-Turks. I found out that there were more than 5,000 of them in Turkey. I was surprised at the number because I had never seen an African-Turk before. I wanted to learn more about them so I did some research.
Their first immigration to Turkey is dated back in the 15th century. However, most of them came to Turkey in the 19th century by slave traders. They were freed and started living in the Aegean and Mediterranean Regions. They worked in agricultural fields, some of them were trained as soldiers. They state that most of them don't know about their origins and which country they came from. They say they love living in Turkey and usually give their children names of Turkish origins. There is a website about them: ttp://www.afroturc.org/

In Serbia, most of people don't like gypsies, because they have a different lifestyle and norms in life. Most of them don't have reggular jobs, like working in a supermarket or in some company. They can applay for job, but there is a little chance of actually getting one and they prefere an easier way for getting money, like stealing or begging in the streets. Their kids are very rude and doesn't know how to behave properly. As for the music, in Serbia and generally at whole Balkan, we have a tone of different music geners. But the most discriminating one is the one that most of kids today listen. Those kids probably don't understand the meaning of words, they just like the beat and that's the music you listen when you go to club. This music mostly discriminate women, and the way they need to look like or behave, and that's just wrong. And in music spots are often shown of riches, like expensive cars and houses and chlothes. But there are some really good, old songs, that some kids listen. Or songs from different gener that doesn't discriminate anyone, they are just meant to be listened for fun, or when you are sad.

Something I've noticed is that people discriminate me for my gender or age, with age they think that because I'm younger and not knowledgeable. With gender because in most music videos you see half-naked women, dancing and being provocative. Some music that I've heard contained some offensive words against gender, age, race. Some examples are from the singer Jason Derulo, most of his videos the women are just eye candy.

I listen to music everyday and there’s is so much discrimination in the music business. There’s also a lot of videos on the internet that goes viral and in the videos they are discriminating people of all kind in everyday in every way possible and people think it’s funny so they believe that it’s fine to say that kind of stuff because someone else did it. U can be discriminated by anything these days and people should really ease it down with the talk.

The most obvious reflexes in racist tendencies are economic. They want good jobs, good living spaces, good property all to stay in the race they see themselves superior to, and I think this is wrong. The racist tendency is responsible for many things such as unemployment, social injustice, and imbalance in income distribution. He keeps the outside thing responsible for what is foreign to him, but it is not something that people can choose for themselves
