I. The British are unreliable and they have less ability than the Chinese
2. The situation in China is very dire and the Japanese could easily take the country. If Japan took over China, they would have plenty of people, and resources for their war effort.
3. Anti-German/Japan/Italy propaganda can be spread to combat the already strong pro-axis propaganda in India
4. Because, If we lose China and India, there will be no foothold to attack from in the for east. We would end up in the same situation as Europe.

        Document 8
It would be better to take down Germany, for they occupy a lot of Russia. If Russia falls the war is as good as lost. Taking down the Germans also means we don't have to protect the middle east as much because the majority of the Axis Powers is controlled by Germany. If the Middle East falls, then the Germans can meet up with Japan and combine their army's and make them stronger. The Middle East also has a lot of natural resources which would fuel the even larger army in the war. Defeat in Germany would bring about the eventual surrender in Japan

There are two situations in the outcome of the German/Russian war. If the Russians win, it will be far easier to take Germany with a combined allied force across the continent because of a divided German force. If they lose it will be very hard to take Germany because of an increase of resources and men with the taking of Russia, as well as the overwhelming threat of an empire of that size.
