         <description><![CDATA[<div>Christianity is a religion stems from the teachings, life, and death of Jesus of Nazareth. This religion was created in 1st Century C.E, in Judea. An important event in Christianity is Easter. This event celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The religion is practiced by praising God through music and speech, reading scriptures, praying in churches and at home, etc. The beliefs help impact the life of Christians because they believe that Jesus Christ was crucified for the forgiveness of their sins, and that leads to a better way of life.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Judaism is a monotheistic religion, which evolved between the ancient Hebrews. The religion was created nearly 4,000 years ago (which is around 2,000 B.C.E), in Israel. An important event in Jewish history is Passover. Passover is an event that celebrates the Jews' freedom from slavery in Egypt. This religion is/was practiced by communicating to God through prophets and worshipping in synagogues, to name a few.&nbsp;These practices and beliefs impact Jews because they are able to communicate to their God through things such as prophets, and this helps them to build a better relationship with their God.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Islam is a Muslim faith, said to have been discovered through Prophet Muhammad. The religion was created in the year 610 A.D, in Mecca, which is current-day Saudi Arabia. A major event in the Islam religion is Eid al-Fitr. This event celebrates the end of Ramadan, which is the holy month of fasting in the religion. Islam is/was practiced by going to Mosques to worship, prayer (salat), fasting (sawm), etc. These practices impacted Muslims because it helps them grow closer to Allah. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hinduism is a religion that is believed to have been created sometime between 2300 B.C and 1500 B.C, in the Indus Valley. The Indus Valley is quite close to current-day Pakistan. One important event in the Hindu religion is Navaratri. It is a day to celebrate harvest and fertility. Hinduism is/was practiced by embracing many religious ideas. In addition, most Hindus don’t eat pork or beef, as food is very important to them.&nbsp;Their beliefs impact their lives because it helps them view Hinduism as more of a "way of life" than a single religion. </div>]]></description>
