Our High School doesn’t have a clear and stated school vision, but since we are a rather small organization located in a smallish community, it has been easy to discuss and form common values accepted by most of the staff and students. Our main values are:

1. Leave no one behind.

2. Open, uncomplicated and informal relations not only between staff members, but also with teachers and students.

3. Emphasis on internationalization and entrepreneurship.

I think it would still be beneficial to have more clear and stated vision, which could also be transformed into some kind of a school motto. Good and clear vision makes it easier for everyone to work towards the objectives stated in the vision and can furthermore serve to raise the profile of the school.

I think everybody has some sort of school vision, or at least a sense of what school should be. My school vision is of a true community, where every member is committed to everyone else’s success. Where the most important is the community, the collaboration, the whole, and not the individual. Where differences are set aside and everybody works towards the same goal: the community’s progress and development. And by community I mean every single member, not only students, but teachers and other staff. This would mean not only work but also a focus on people’s wellbeing: time to work, time to relax, time for the family and friends. If everybody took the community goals as their own, everybody would work for the benefit of the whole, forgetting selfishness, greed or the fight for power. I believe in a school with true PBL classes and activities, where students will learn to become informed citizens, capable of making a true change in the world.

Our educational vision is to allow all students to develop personal and social skills, which enable them to define life projects adjusted to their goals, interests and vocations. The basic assumption is that in addition to broader skills, we all have potential skills.

All elements of the educational community have the opportunity to learn from each other, to create and to grow up. All employees are given the opportunity to develop self-awareness of their skills, becoming more active, co-responsible, motivated people and, consequently, key agents of change.

By the practice of shared leadership and a communication system open to everyone and for everyone, every member of the educational community is encouraged to participate in projects independently, establishing groups of work and partnerships with the local, national and international community, with the aim of the school to learn and readjust to the real demands and challenges of today's society, thus assuming the necessary role for the implementation of innovative projects for cluster and community improvement.

The enormous strength of will and the belief that we can make a difference with teamwork, allow create a culture of promoting and developing values for the same purpose: innovation, change and improvement.

No problem is seen as an obstacle, but rather as a challenge that can be overcome. In the environment where our school is located, its biggest challenge is to find the answers necessary for your students to have learning conditions in line with trends more current, both educational and social and adjusted to the ever-changing reality.
