The students of class 1/3 were introduced to the concept of diabetes and learned the basic characteristics of the disease.

The children collected various food wrappers at school after snacks and at home. We divided into groups and studied the amount of sugar in each item.

After completing the research, we created a nutrition display board. We placed the foods with the highest sugar content at the bottom, and as we moved up, we placed healthier foods with less hidden sugar. The board is displayed in our classroom.

Our older friends from class 5/3 visited us and brought us badges with a blue circle, the international symbol of diabetes.
