first link https://www.dailydot.com/debug/amazon-fake-reviews/
second link
http://footwearnews.com/2018/business/retail/amazon-fake-reviews-facebook-groups-1202553817/

Both of these articles highlight the same area that amazon is not meeting there guidelines. They boast about there reviews and claim that they have the highest well reviewed rate but research shows that a percentage of those are paid for by merchants. More than a 100 groups in February asked customers to write fake reviews for payment. This is causing a big issue for amazon because customers cant trust a product when they see great reviews but then buy the product, then it arrives and it is not the right product or it is cheaply made and doesn't work. It causes customers to not trust reviews or the website and may right bad reviews and that is one of amazons biggest issue.

Amazon is the largest online marketplace in North America and seems to be devoted to delivering a great product right to your doorstep. In 1995, Amazon.com was launched, and their mission statement was, “to be Earth's most customer-centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online, and endeavors to offer its customers the lowest possible prices”. Amazon is giving people a way to get the goods they need delivered right to their doorstep without the hassle of any lines, other shoppers or not being able to find the product you are looking for. They are the number one online retailer, and the vast majority of people are aware of their company, and I cannot find any environmental issues with the company, other than the pollution created from the shipping of products from distributer to buyer.

1. Amazon prime in Canada is $79 but in the US its $99, while using amazon.ca you do not have to use exchange ate from the US. So I believe the social impact is that the US should not have to pay $20 more for prime.

2. Amazons shipping is regularly good but I personally have had problems, for example things not arriving on time or at all, even shipping the wrong product. When we called about out problem nothing was resolved. For the social impact Amazon should try harder to make less mistakes and to always contact the consumer with help.

3. Amazon has tendency to pay people to write good reviews and delete the bade ones. This social impact causes problems by having people believe products are good but later find problems after buying the item, and as they delete the negative reviews that are telling others the problems. So this is just creating a back and forth problem.
