That night, my dad and mom went to work the night shift, and my younger brother went to his grandparents' house. I stay home alone to look after the house. Thirdly, our activities are one of the major causes of pollution. For example, people throw the rubbish on the street or burn trash, this makes the air become more polluted. Therefore, it’s important to know that protecting our planet must do right now! Government should be more strict to actions that harm our environment. Finally, each person can use less plastic, plant a tree, reuse things and do many other actions. Therefore, let’s say no to pollution and stand up for the Earth.

Hello, my name is Anh Duong. Today, I would like to talk about summer and winter . Not same as other countries, In Viet Nam, there are 4 seasons in a year, that is spring, summer, autumn, winter. In my opinion, summer is an ideal time in the year. I love summer and everything about it. Unlike the winter, the weather in summer is quite hot. l like summer best for some following reasons. Firstly, I can play many sports such as: swimming, badminton and table tennis easily. Secondly, I can wear many other clothes tidily and move fast as I can. For example, I don’t need to wear scaft, gloves, sweater, ….in summer, therefore I feel really comfortable. Thirdly, It is the season of fruits such as watermelon, oranges and mangoes. Tet holiday is the most important and biggest traditional festival in Vietnam. It is celebrated annually on the first day of the Lunar New Year. It usually starts at the end of January and ends in early February. Before Tet, they clean their house and decorate it with flowers and trees such as a kumquat tree or peach blossom. Streets are decorated with lanterns, banners, and fresh flowers to symbolize new beginnings and good luck. They also prepare some traditional dishes such as Banh Chung, Gio cha, Banh Tet….., On the New year's eve, people often stay together and have meal happily. Another traditional custom is giving lucky money, which is put into a red envelope as a symbol of luck and wish for a new age, to children and the elders. Besides, they usually go to pagodas or temples to pray for wealth, health, success,…To conclusion, Tet is the happiest period of the year because members in a family can gather and celebrate Tet together.
