The First week of pre-production

During the week of pre-production, I was mostly asked to do some risk assessments and help with ideas of set design, I also helped with Adam and props, when the props department didn't have some of what we needed me and Adam went Tesco and bought some plates and other items that were needed, we also had to eventually use external sources for props due to the props department saying the stuff we needed we cant have for long, and when emailing back asking if we could have it on specific days, never got a response, so we dealt with that by trying to find others with items that we could use, which we eventually did

When I was doing my PA position work, I did the risk assessment for the house, then the other PA took over it and did their own house Risk Assessment which unluckily got denied, so it had to be done again, during this week it was mostly production meetings and looking at the set and figuring out what can be done with it, as well as figuring out the producers roles, such as continuity which I was when on set eventually

The First Week of Filming

The first week we did we started off in the Café Kith + Kin, during this I was the continuity guy and set design, starting at 8am we did many takes, and quite a lot of them got the ok, rather than unusable, a very productive day, a lot done in the span of one day, finishing around 5:30pm and was there from 8am, a few images of the café are on this padlet, showing the set design of our scene in the café, we also took photos before changing the set for when we had to put everything back where it was before, during the first day I also helped with making sure the scenes go on, while the camera team were outside I was inside with a radio calling action and also radioing back if anything didn't go as planned or the actors wanted to stop because of issues

First week continuation

On the second day, we filmed in a park, for the late night scenes of the vampire, I was assigned again as continuity but this time without set design, waiting for it to get dark, we were in the Allerton building making sure we have all the right stuff and the actors are ready, this day was another good day of good takes, as well as the third day as both days were of the same area and same scenes, we also brought any warm blankets and coats for the actors and the crew for it was freezing cold, the last day of the first week of filming, Friday, I was only there for a short while, giving my mirror for the scene and blankets, while Queeneth was there as PA and Claudia was Set design assigned on the call sheet that day, I helped out where I could and then left, due to only few people being able to be at the house due to its size

Second Week of Filming

On the Monday we went back to the Kith + Kin, to do some more scenes at a different time in the script, I again was Continuity and there were a few takes needed to not be used but also a few extreme definite takes that was said they wanted, I also was asked to do the clapper board due to Tia the Assistant Director being one of the actors and unable to do it, also being there as Set design due to me having the photos of the set the last week, Tuesday was another of the house scenes were I go to help out but leave afterwards due to the numbers needing to be small, help setting up the scene ready for filming, the rest of the days Wed to Friday was Queeneth being PA and Claudia Set design when at the House, and also at the Park Queeneth took the Wednesday instead of me

Third week, only one day filming

Due to the weather on one of the filming days, we had to finish it the week after, which we did, although it was another day I wasn't fully needed to I came to lend a hand and collect my stuff to take them back to home and where other things belonged due to filming being finished
