         <description><![CDATA[<div>Worksite wellness is provides a fundemental basis for health improvment within the organization through program encourged lifestyle changes. Work site wellness programs should provide a wellness program which is promotes the health of employees through program opprotunities to improve health , in all aspects be it mental, physical, social,spiritual, emotional, etc, and policies which fall inline with these program offerings, thereby designed to encourage health and wellbeing of the all employees. Along with program offerings and wellness related policy, worksite wellness should include benefit compensation package which provides a benefit to the employee for striving to obtain a healthier lifeestyle. The programs, policies and benefits of a program need to be supported by management so the corporate environment is one of&nbsp; overall wellness and is inline with the mission, puropose and goals of the organization.<br><br>The concept of holistic help has been part of history since 3000 B.C. with the practice of Ayurveda where balance between mind, body and spirit was a means of prevnting illness and progressed through out history with taditional Chinese medicine, acient Roman medicine, homeopathy, osteopathy and Chiropractic. Holistic approaches to health have stood the test of time and continue to evolve, therefore including holoistic options such as yoga and herbal medicine should be consideration for our best practices when developing a holistic worksite wellness program.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>According to Dr. Steve Aldana about 20% of the workforce is already eating healthy, avoiding tobacco and exercising. The remaining employees have not come to a point of taking action in their wellness, the remaining 75%-80% of employees have not reached a stage of action, and although many may participate in” wellness efforts but they will require constant encouragement, incentives and peer support before they are really ready to enjoy the benefits of healthy living. (Wellness Program Engagement Guide, 2018).  <br><br></div><div>Getting employees who are not motivated to engage in wellness programs is not only important to the company’s bottom line, but it also improves the employees’ health, which can be attributed to reducing cardiovascular risks, decreased depression rates and increased longevity.<br><br></div><div>Employee involvement can be influenced by online competitions, activity tracking, social networks, mobile messaging, incentives, changes in physical environment, communication, and leadership involvement.
