- having multiple view points gives you a better view of the topics at hand
- multiple eyes to read over and check for errors
- makes you more accountable and manage your time better to pull your own weight for your mark

Disadvantages:
- particularly more difficult in an online course as everyone has different reasons for choosing online schooling, and matching up those schedules is going to be a fine art
- harder to discuss openly and respond timely - emails get crossed all the time, so definitely need a few Zoom chats or three way phone call making electronics a focus as well when you don't know the other person's circumstances with electronics (Ie. using library time, a set time to go to their aunt's house, etc.)

There are many positives working in a team. You can focus on questions the best compliment your strengths, get work done faster as it is divided, gain experience that will help in a future career, and learn about other points of view and strategies at tackling problems.
Disadvantages
It can be hard to communicate to group members, especially if it online. There can be power struggles between group members. Not everyone is suited to work as a team. It can cause drama, not everyone likes each other. A major disadvantage would be communication. When you work with others you lean on each others strengths when you are experiencing a weakness. If you lean on each other you are more likely to understand the material. Working in a group also allows for work to be divided up and everyone gets to put forth their best efforts on what they are in charge of.
As a disadvantage some members of the group may not work as well as others. The work may suffer if someone isn't giving their best on the task they are required to do.
