Pop is the genre I would least listen to because I feel as if it doesn’t have much meaning to the lyrics like r&b of hip hop does. The thing I find about pop artist is that they find t hard to be creative so if they have one hit song, the make several spinoffs from it which essentially sounds like variations of the same song. For example, Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ sounds very similar to another popular song of hers ‘Poker Face’. Although pop is not one of my favorite genres, it does have some type of influence on the world we live in. the songs ha e a tendency to be repetitive which means its easier for the listener to sing along. I only changed my mind on how I feel a couple of cross over songs but the genre as a whole is still not appealing to me.
