I found very interesting today what I learned about nature. I already knew a lot about the mangroves, but I was not aware of the fact that there are birds that fear the rats. Moreover, I did not expect rats to be on a mangrove island in the middle of the ocean. That was the simple explanation why all birds were in one island while there were none in all the other islands around. This shows that in nature, nothing happens per chance. Everything has a reason. Unfortunately because of the rain I didn’t take any pictures so I chose the picture that showed the great food we received and how much fun we all had on that beautiful trip.

Today was a wonderful day. I learned a lot of information about the local ecosystem. I was extremely interested in the corals, which are said to be dying out due to the global warming. Those, we have seen, have learned, or perhaps are learning better, to adapt and grow. Which, however, is not a solution, because it cannot be adapted to infinity. However, I spent a very nice day with good people.

The principle of the functions operating in any ecosystem is similar to a bearing wheel. If one ball falls out of the chain, nearly nothing happens. The wheel still works, not in 100%, but works. If one species in ecosystem is on the decrease or disappears, the ecosystem still works. The more balls fall out of the chain, the heavier bearing wheel works and one day stops working at all. The same process passes in the ecosystem that disappears in the end, fortunately. The bearing wheel can be replaced by a new one, but in the nature? No more chances are given. Humans can still not understand it and will pay a harsh bill for that.
