You must have a policy in place to manage patient complaints, and respond quickly and appropriately to any that arise.

Very useful exercise for our future. This is a hypothetical scenario in which we have to deal with a letter of complaint from an unsatisfied patient.

I think I received good feedback for this submission which will help me a lot in the future.

In particular, the feedback I received concerned mostly the use of language, of which I am not a native speaker. Moreover, I was supposed to focus more on explicit statements rather than talking by euphemisms. in addition to that, It seems my refunding policies were too advantageous for my patient. Finally, my assessor made me notice I mentioned statutory rights of patients without really knowing what I was talking about.

I am very happy I have a template I can use for the complaints I will receive in the future - hoping they will not be many -

The list of things I will have to attach will be:

- Formal complaint instructions for patients
- Statuatory rights of patients (excluding the ones regarding free access to NHS)
