He was born in Mexico but immigrated to the United States when he was a boy. He served one term as govener in New Mexico. Later on, he was elected to the State house of representatives before running for the U.S. senate. His time in Washington didn't last long due to the fact that he got very sick and traveled back home. He later died on April 7th,1930.<br><br>when: December 7th, 1928<br><br>where: New Mexico, and the United States.</div>]]></description>
