One different type of currency I have used to pay is bartering. I gave one of my old friends a piece of chip for a party size bag. I know it was unfair but at least I got the party size bag. They got scammed and I love scamming people.

In 1850 their was gold coins and it's hard to get it you need to find people that have gold coins there's not much coins so it hard but if you get it you have something very important.

I've told people if they give me the thing for free that I want to buy then I'll do something for them. For example. I'll wash their dishes or I'll buy them a house when I'm rich. (I'll never go rich.) 🥹

I haven't used a different currency before but I think the metal coins invention was a great way of using currency.Because it lasts long and it doesn't spoil like the deerskin,the shells and etc.And I think the metal coins have a great design on them.

A currency I have used is by using my sisters money or I have my parents pay for me because I am broke right now. When I do have money I give it to my mom or dad so they can use their credit and so I don't have to talk to someone.

I was trading in grow a garden and I got a decent offer I negotiated/bartered so I could get more profit from the trade so after some negotiation and bartering I traded a pet for 5 pets which is a HUGE steal :) (Mega T-rex for 4 swans and one T-rex )
