u were veryyyyyyyyy special po especially because one of the things that the pandemic took from me was the confidence para magpabida during english classes hehehehehehehehe (sadly i couldn't do that nung online bcs i was very shy and all and the online thing was not very effective for me huhu) BUT bcs of ur way of teaching and how you were so inclusive and affirming i was able to regain that confidence!

core memory po nung kailangan namin magpresent ng answers sa questions na binigay niyo abt the poem "Africa" tas di magkasundo yung group namin hours before the presentation proper pero we got 20/20 nonetheless!!!!! I EVEN REMEMBER U ASKED WHAT MY NAME WAS KAY ISHA HABANG NAGPEPRESENT AKO!! it was so cool kc bcs of that po i developed a new love for public speaking! (and bcs of that nung minememorize nyo yung names ng rosal inask nyo lahat sila pero nilaktawan nyo ako cuz u already knew me from that presentation hiihihihihihihihhihi proud na proud ako sa sarili ko non sir)

g8 was also the time na na-realize ko po kung gano ko kamahal ang poetry and literature in general and u're a VERY big part as to the reason why! as in hanggang ngaun memorize ko po yung very first literary work na diniscuss nyo (fire and ice) and when u revealed that the ice was supposed to represent apathy i was so mesmerized kc everything made sense and it kind of triggered something in me that made me want to read more and more and more to appreciate all the little allegorical meanings in every book

super na-enjoy ko po yung classes nyo sir! actually nung inannounce nyo po na exempted kami sa AA na gagawa dapat ng video endorsing yung hometown namin (ito po yung same time na nag-impromptu tau tas exempted mga naka 37+), i was planning on still making the other AA cuz i really just loved doing the projects sa English!

super dami pa po ng masasabi ko but super lengthy na hehhehehehe all i wanna say is thank you for being the good teacher that you are and thank you for rekindling the fire within me! i appreciate you po so much more than i can ever physically show but know po that i'll always bring your name with me!

miss ko na mga jokes mo habang klase sir like soafer sobra sobra miss ko na po yung panunukso mo sakin kay ano tas yung mga bagay bagay na sinasabi mo sa twt ko pag may post ako about kay ano ( nagmove on na ko though sir may bago na me hulaan mo nlng po ulit kung sino ;) )

other than that po thankkkssss youuu po sir kasi i found some appreciation sa literature during g8 dahil sayo sir kasi dun ko po narealize na like wow grabe ang ganda pala magbasa ng ganto tas ganyan ( especially romance sir like narekindle po yung spark sa loob ko na magbasa ulit ng mga aus HSHSJSJSHJ )

one of the reasons i started to like english was because of the way you taught them po sir hehe, I never particularly liked english since most of it involves reading and i have a very hard time with that 😓 but the enthusiasm in which you taught us made me want to understand the material better!! it also made me realize how much i love disecting literature, looking for symbolisms and allegories and utilizing it in my own works !! the way in which you presented the literary works for g8 and g9 really made me want to explore more and read more !!

i'm not quite sure if you know this po, sir, but you made learning written works a lot more accessible for me. like i said, a condition of mine makes it very difficult, which is why i hated the english coverage when i first saw it, but you made ways for us to understand more than just by reading, and i will always appreciate that. not a lot of my elementary english teachers did that, so you were a pleasant surprise hehe

ang fun mo rin po maging ala adviser !! the dedication you have to nexus is admirable, and the care you have for each of us is sweet 💗💗

That paper was one of the fruits of your tireless drive to educate our class back then. I was proud to know that you saw my work worthy of being an example. Perhaps it wasn't exactly for that reason, but I was happy nonetheless.
