Grabber: “Every man is created equal,” said by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence, is a wonderful thought, but an impossible reality because of the fundamental racism built into American society.

Thesis: The unfortunate truth in law is that although everyone is supposed to be treated equal, there are those who are treated as if they are above the law due to the racism in America.

Clincher: Skin is a mere description of the body; however, even after the founding fathers declared that everyone is supposedly “equal,” racism tears down this goal, making some above the law, and some not.

Thesis: Court proceedings should not be televised as that violates the sanctity of the justice system.

Clincher: Without careful guarding, the legal system could be compromised and corrupted.

Grabber: There once was an egotistical king in the old days of England. This king caused havoc wherever he struck because he was above the law, but a band of knights stopped him and forced him to sign the Magna Carta.

Thesis: The Magna Carta is the vital reason why no one can be above the law, no matter their stature.

Clincher: You can be a King, a Queen, or even the Master of the Wind, but no matter who you are, you can’t escape the law.

Thesis: The death sentence is necessary and should be apart of every countries constitution to ensure that murders do not get to live while their victims do not.

Clincher: It is hard enough for people to live with the knowledge that a loved one has been murdered, the death sentence makes it easier for them by knowing that the murderer has been given the highest punishment. 

Grabber: The case simply ends with death, the criminal is not forced to face the consequences of their actions and instead escapes through death.

Thesis: The death sentence should not be activated in every country of the world because it is ironic to punish crime with violence and does not offer the criminal a second chance to reflect on their actions.

Clincher: Therefore, the death sentence is simply a way for criminals to escape the consequences of their crime and not an effective method to punish them for their wrongdoings. 

Thesis: No matter which law someone believes they are simply above, they are utterly incorrect. The numerous laws of a certain country are for every single citizen to follow, not just regular people who are not people of high ranking authority or social status. 

Clincher: No matter who you are, whether you are the most famous celebrity or the President or Prime Minister of a country, laws are for everyone to follow and no one is above them. 

Grabber: tobacco is one of the many products killing people. Not only do those smoking die from it but also those around. Let's say that you and your friends hang outside a shop everyday and a man is there smoking, everyday that you inhale that same smoke you are being affected as much as the man that is actually holding the cigarette to his mouth. Thesis:  There are many reasons the prove tobacco production and sales should be made illegal.

Clincher:  always think when you are smoking around others or if they are smoking around you because both are affected the same, do not make someone unhealthy from your form of relaxation. 

2)  They are an addictive substance and a major public health concern that's been growing ever since 2005.  There are over 1000 cases of murders, armed robbery domestic violence connected with these types of drinks.

Grabber: Sarah remembers the day clearly, the day she nearly suffocated from the fumes let off from the tobacco in the car. It was the summer of her third grade year and she was spending some time with her tobacco-loving grandparents. It did not take long for her grandpa to realize as he quickly swerved the car to the hospital. Though she was saved, her relationship with her grandparents suffered and she vowed to not ride in their car again unless they made a commitment to stop their addiction.

Thesis: Tobacco has multiple severe effects on any of its users, but the most severe effect is the transformation from an individual to a controlled victim.

Clincher: Tobacco will cause any user or secondhand user to have severe side effects. Something this harmful should not be allowed to acquire so easily by the public.

Grabber: When I finally arrived at home after a long, exhausting day of school, I went and laid right on the couch. I kept contemplating on when I should begin my 10 hours of homework for the night. Suddenly, I remembered that there was a cold pack of energy drinks in the fridge that would help keep me awake for the rest of the night. I immediately bounced up from the couch to grab one and the night of homework began!

Thesis: Energy drinks should not be banned and are a great energy boost for when one gets extremely exhausted. 

Clincher: When I finally was on my last homework assignment for the night, I started to appreciate energy drinks and how it tremendously helped me finish my responsibilities. 

Thesis: the death sentence should be activated in every country of the world. 

Clincher:  Erik Killmonger from “Blank Panther” achieved his goal when he thought he killed the prince of the third world country. He found his remorse in that moment when he thought he killed his cousin, and everything paid off.

Thesis: Energy Drinks shouldn’t be banned
