         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nowadays, the way to keep students interested in learning programming is very important as the job that required programming skills increased rapidly. One of the factor that keeping students from interested is difficulty to access learning materials everywhere.<br><br><strong>Problem statement:</strong><br>Many students find it's hard to study introductory programming language because they are lack of interest. Most student are eager to test their knowledge after the lecture class but they don't have an access to computers and most of them did not bring a laptop to class. So, their attention may be diverted after some times and it will lead to students losing interest.<br><br><strong>Motivation factor</strong>:<br>Most of the places have an access to internet especially universities, cities, housing area and schools. Therefore, it will be easy to access internet through smartphones. Besides that, student need to keep themself interested to study throughout the day. Therefore, our smartphone application can help them to keep interested.<br><br><strong>The scope of area of research:</strong><br>Many students find it is hard to study introductory programming language.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Critical review:</strong><br>1) An application developed to be used to monitor the student's study record inside the class. It also proposed the usage of smartphone inside the classes for students and lecturers.<br>The limitation is that the application only act as a record for student's performance. <br>2) Web-based application whereby it’s a one way interaction between the student and the application so student can study independently. Not all students can study independently while some prefer to study in a group <br>- creates open discussion sharing ideas<br>- solving doubts and spending less time stuck on one idea<br>- accidentally spending time on social media can be avoided<br>3)This paper propose new way to teach  programming that is using mobile application development.<br>The limitations or weakness of their solutions such as students can only access the learning materials when they have computer or laptop with them.<br><br><strong>The achievement/contribution:</strong><br>Our proposed solution can improve studying efficiency of students by keeping them interested. To keep them interested, we create a smartphone application which play videos on programming so that they have easier access to learning materials everywhere. The Raspberry-Pi will be integrated with the smartphone and can be used with NFC tags for usage for group studies.<br><br><strong>The methodology:</strong><br>We well develop a smartphone application which plays a videos on programming lessons on their smartphone. The interface is more simplified than a notes or slide which make it more convenient to be viewed on the smartphone. The Raspberry-Pi will be integrated with the smartphone application so that the video content can be viewed on a bigger screen. Thus, it can be used for study group. The NFC tags is to be used as a materials which is provided by lecturers for the solution of midterm or test with a good explanation.</div>]]></description>
