Here’s how to play:

1. Follow @CalPIInitiative and @UCBPAC on instagram

2. Attend PI Virtual Welcome Week events (earn 3 points per event you attend). Register at TinyURL.com/PIWeek

3. Share a post, or multiple posts, on your instagram by September 10th, 11:59pm PST that include:
-A photo of you in front of Sather Gate (3 points)
-A photo of your favorite restaurant in Berkeley (2 points)
-A photo of you hanging out with another PI student on zoom or in-person (3 points per person)

4. Tag @CalPIInitiative and @UCBPACin your post(s) and hashtag #CalPIWeek

Note: Points will be awarded for each photo shared (not for each post shared.) Photos posted onto stories will not count towards your overall points.

My favorite thing about Day 1 was getting to know everyone! Speed-networking is such a great icebreaker activity :) I definitely wish we could all have been in-person (and gotten to share a meal), I'm super grateful for the opportunity to be in community with y'all.

Really enjoyed meeting/seeing everyone. Would love to hear some other time during the week other things people are excited for/apart of/working on. Diversity of islands, majors, and passions is one of the things that I find best about our community

I loved that I got to make new connections with everyone here and am excited to build and strengthen those connections overtime. I’m glad I have PI brothers & sistas that can relate to my experiences and to lean on for any help or just to talk.

I love being able to meet new folks, loved the speed networking :) Would love to do more activities like that. Would like to see a place to put our social medias to make it easier to connect!!

I love knowing that i'm not the only PI student around on campus! I was nervous about being a first year at Cal since the PI representation is soooo low but I'm glad I was able to find PI students and feel a sense of family within this group. Thank you for the opportunity to meet most of these amazing people & I hope to participate more within this program!
