As a young boy, he read a book about submarines that inspired him to build his own. He has done so many deep-water explorations and has seen and taken pictures of so many creatures never seen before. These creatures originated and developed in deep water habitat. Some scientists believe these species are native to the Roatan, Honduran’s island. They are born, live, and die in this area. Even though they have a lot of resemblance to other fish, it is evident that their appearance is much different.&nbsp;They look unfinished in comparison to what we are used to seeing. In the same way that Charles Darwin noticed the different species of the Galapagos, Roatan’s island is a home to a large variety of interesting and unusual creatures. &nbsp;</p>]]></description>

It is a  gram-positive bacillus. No pores, a microaerobic bacteria. Resist up to 38 degree celsius. </p><p>Great tolerance for bile and acid. </p><p>Is a lactic acid bacteria available in a probiotic form. It helps with the gastrointestinal health, cancer, cholesterol, aging, immunity and more. Some of monocot and dicot plants provide essential nutrients such as protein, fiber, vitamins, fats, minerals, carbohydrates, sugars, and more. Some edible examples of monocot plant are: corn, wheat, coconut, onion, barley, garlic, pineapple, sugar cane and ginger. Dicot edible examples are: beans, sunflowers, oak, tomatoes, soybean, carrot, mango and more. </p><p>Monocot and dicot benefit human also with their medicinal properties, for example steroids, anti-inflammatory and antioxidants.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Jellyfishes are so attractive to look up swimming gracefully displaying different sizes, shapes, colors, tentacles, speed, etc. One characteristic that described cnidarians are Cnidocytes which are stinging cells. Their majestic organelles are use to move in the water and also to trap other organisms and eat them. </p><p>The Jellyfish have long hair-like barbs called cnidocil that releases toxic which they used to defend themselves from other organisms. They have have two layer tissue and a primitive nervous system. Their gastrointestinal system is extracellular, they absorb other organisms and absorb nutrients and release waste through the same opening. A few types of cnidarians toxics are deadly to humans.          <description><![CDATA[<p>The human body needs to be able to maintain a healthy balance in order to survive. That state of equilibrium was first addressed by Walter Cannon in 1926. When our internal physiological needs are not met, our body&nbsp;sends the brain signals&nbsp;and activates natural responses to balance the body. This process is most significantly recognized when we are experiencing drastic temperature change. There are four parts that describe homeostasis processes: Stimulus, Receptor, Control Unit, and Effector. As the brain receives the signal of change of equilibrium, the brain responds with a negative feedback loop to reduce the stimulus. A positive feedback loop will do the opposite because it is trying to warm the brain that something is out of balance.</p><p>In addition to thermoregulation the body also experience osmoregulation and chemical regulation. </p><p><a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-homeostasis-2795237">https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-homeostasis-2795237</a></p>]]></description>

         <title>Padlet Assignment 6: Arthritis</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>There are different kinds of Arthritis, but generally all types leads to pain and swelling of joints of the body. Osteoarthritis (OA)  is mostly diagnosed and affect people seniors. People who suffers arthritis usually experience difficulties moving due pain and insecurity of the joints, stiffness and swelling. Doctors would order MRIs and x-rays to determined diagnosis. There are some treatments to help patients from getting worse, these include proper exercising, weight control, using braces, medication and last resource surgery.</p><p>Some patients manage discomforts using alternative medicine such as hot/cold baths and acupuncture.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Temperate Forest Biomes are among one of the most pleasant biomes on the planet for humans. One of the most significant characteristics of this biome is the "well defined four seasons" experience. The temperatures ranges from cold winters, hot summer and moderate pleasant spring and autumn. In the temperate forest not only is the weather comfortable, but the rainfall is moderate and leaves the ground the perfect condition for a variety of vegetation and animal habitats.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Biodiversity is important for equilibrium in the planet Earth. In 2021, scientists have been able to count 1.6 million living species in Earth however there are a lot more yet to be studied. The smallest species actually make up the largest group of unknown creatures. The micro-organisms are the most important for the environment because they are essential for food production.  For example; micro-organisms, insect pollinators and fish. Biodiversity is important for natural medicinal purposes, thanks to fungi and plants. Biodiversity is important for protection in different areas of the globe for example trees inland and coral reefs protect oceans. Humans constant burning of fuels, deforestation, pollution, farming, overpopulation, places biodiversity at risk and contributes to causing global warming. To allow the planet to heal itself, it is urgent that we find innovated ways to survive. A good start to protecting biodiversity is by protecting the animals and trees of the Earth.
