We distributed the work by decided within the group what we were interested in.
I was interested in the history and the comp shop as well as adding information into the PESTLE. I also researched some of the origins of the fabrics and contextual aspects of sportwear.
As a group, we all worked well together and took equal responsibility. I enjoyed deep diving into a specific subject but felt it was a little rushed in class and as a group we wasn’t able to get time together. Some of these work exclusively with BCI Cotton which supports the nature of the trend story being produced. My strategy benefits my retailer as it is low cost to produce and ship and with bulk orders going with a narrow supplier base gives room for negotiation on prices. In hindsight, I may have changed mode of transport for a quicker delivery time however I am happy that my critical path takes into account if there are any set backs.

The value of planning before creation was highlighted in this project. I unfortunately missed the introduction of this lesson and felt that my questions were a little missed, i felt a little like i was playing catch up. From this I originally went straight in to putting information onto my work rather than collecting my data together and then laying after. I found it quite interesting researching about Bangladesh and was glad to see the country being positively affected by trade.

I found it interesting when editing my choice down as I started with a huge number of CADs and ideas, but the further I progressed my idea the easier it became.
I enjoyed re-researching fabric comp and prices as well.
I felt articulating my thoughts but putting focus on visuals than works was different to my normal approach but was a welcome change.
