Aspirin was born in the late 1890s in the form of acetylsalicylic acid when Felix Hoffman of The Bayer company in Germany used it to relieve his father's rheumatism, thinking about the effectiveness of this compound in 1899 Bayer German Medical Company distributed them in a powder with this ingredient to the doctors to give to the patients. Having such effectiveness that it became a success and in 1915 it was sold as over-the-counter tablets.
 
Currently there are studies that indicate that taking a daily aspirin can be a preventive of heart attacks and a possible preventive of cancer in a single tablet. But not everything is good, there are people who are better off not consuming them like Hemophiliacs or any other bleeding disorder. since aspirin can cause bleeding.

In conclusion, the discovery of Felix haffman will be a great medical advance that continues to be effective to this day.
