They are a diverse community, representing all racial and ethnic backgrounds, as well as faith backgrounds. Some transgender people identify as male, female, genderqueer, nonbinary, agender, or somewhere else on or outside of the spectrum of what we understand gender to be. Some of them take hormones and have surgery as part of their transition, some don’t. Some choose to openly identify as transgender, others simply identify as men or women. Transgenders have existed in every culture throughout recorded history. The number of transgenders is growing rapidly. There are at least 0.3% of the total population of transgenders in United States, 700.000 of people who were uncomfortable in the body they came in. Transgenders face a lot of problems.

Severe discrimination, stigma, or/and systemic inequality are some problems the transgenders should face. Also the tansgenders still lack of legal protection which makes them kind of afraid to come out to the public with their transgender identitiy. Moreover, legislation specifically designed to prohibit transgender people from accessing public bathrooms that correspond with our gender identity, or creating exemptions based on religious beliefs that would allow discrimination against LGBTQ people. We need to protect the transgenders, even if some of us might have different perceptions, but we still need to respect them for the name of humanity.

Energy is needed to store food in our stomach, transport it to our small intestine, absorb it (into the bloodstream) and digest it. In technical terms, this is known as “diet-induced thermogenesis.” This, together with our basal metabolic rate and physical activity, determines your daily calorie intake. When we burn more calories than we consume, we lose weight. When we eat breakfast, we activate the thermogenesis process and thus stimulate our metabolism. Plus, studies have shown that eating a meal in the morning boosts our metabolism more than eating the same meal in the evening. But don’t overestimate this effect. The boost we get from eating only accounts for about 15 percent of our daily calorie intake.Eat smaller throughout the day is best.By eating smaller meals you prevent this day, and the body functions more efficiently throughout the day.'When we eat a big meal, the sugar level in our blood rises, but once that meal is digested that blood sugar level falls, taking your energy and mood with it.The regular influx of food with a little-and-often approach keeps your energy level stable and makes it easier for you to cope with everything you have to do in a day. And it's not just energy and sugar levels that stay stable. According to the Medical Research Council's Human Nutrition unit, measurements of fatty acids in the blood also remain stable when you eat little and often.such a whenever you eat carbohydrates you combine them with a little protein because this stabilises blood sugar further.Avoid eat in the late at night. Why? . A new study has suggested that snacking late at night could increase your risk of diabetes and heart disease,It can affect your memory,It makes you have weird dreams and negative impact for your sleeping patterns.Eating late at night can have you feeling hungrier than usual when you wake up the next morning thanks to the insulin your pancreas releases after a meal.Eating late at night (especially heavy foods) and going to sleep shortly after is a key contributor to acid reflux.

Title of text: Single parent strugle

Center of branch : Parent strugle
Choice's branch : Single Parent

We agree with the statement that says single parenting is make the children have bad behavior and lack of love. the reason is simple, first because factors of parents and second because environmental factors.

single parenting makes children judge by the community and lead children to behave badly. The judge makes children more and more to behave badly and disturb the community. lack of love from parents make children feel so lonely and deadly.

The society such as neighbour, our grand parents, our family may be affect our children and make them more "wild" and hard to control them, bring bad behavior to them. Sometimes when parents educate children to do good things but our society lead our boy or our girl to do bad things.

Therefore single parenting is more hard to educate children than two parenting. Single parenting needs one parent to be superhero the children want and not every parents can do that. from that reason children parenting is make the children have bad behavior and lack of love.

It is expected that the city should no longer be one of the world’s most-congested as the MRT gets to be an additional option for public transportation alongside the commendable commuter lines and Transjakarta buses.

We agree and it can be argued that the MRT development will be positively impactful. To begin with, a single MRT set comprises six carriages that can carry up to 173,400 passengers a day. By 2024, Jakarta's MRT is expected to carry up to 430,000 passengers daily. A civilized metropolitan is finally in sight, with comfort and timely operations in mind thanks to the MRT’s own capacity, and without the risk of developing various ailments from having to drive for hours daily.

Choosing the right time to eat is really affect for our healthy diet.We agree if eat breakfast, eat smaller meals troughout the day ,and avoid eat in the late at night are good four healthy diet because it have some reason why and what is thet effect on our body.
Eat Breakfast will boost our metabolism in a day.It means that if we have breakfast in the morning as well as we incrreasing a lots of function of our body. Our body uses energy for everything we do, including eating. The boost we get from eating only accounts for about 15 percent of our daily calorie intake.
Eat smaller throughout the day is best.By eating smaller meals you prevent this day, and the body functions more efficiently throughout the day.'When we eat a big meal, the sugar level in our blood rises, but once that meal is digested that blood sugar level falls, taking your energy and mood with it.The regular influx of food with a little-and-often approach keeps your energy level stable and makes it easier for you to cope with everything you have to do in a day. And it's not just energy and sugar levels that stay stable. According to the Medical Research Council's Human Nutrition unit, measurements of fatty acids in the blood also remain stable when you eat little and often.such a whenever you eat carbohydrates you combine them with a little protein because this stabilises blood sugar further.
Avoid eat in the late at night. Why?
So,Eat breakfast, eat smaller throughtout the day,and do not eat at late night is right time to keep our healthy diet because of these impact and fluence for our body.
courtesy: https://www.helpguide.org/articles/healthy-eating/healthy-eating.htm/

The fact has been general knowledge that everybody know. Now let's get to how exactly 'beneficial' fiber is.

First, consume fiber can keep us healthy because it can control our weight. Fiber makes us feel full longer by fillling the stomach, it trick the brain into thinking that we are already full, therefore it restain us from any more callories.

Second, fiber protect us from colorectal cancer. Based on research by American Society for Nutrition, Elevated total dietary fiber intake was associated with a significantly reduced risk of incident distal colorectal adenoma (ORhighest vs. lowest tertile of intake: 0.76; 95% CI: 0.63, 0.91; P-trend = 0.003) but not recurrent adenoma (P-trend = 0.67). Although the association was not statistically significant for colorectal cancer overall (HR: 0.85; 95% CI: 0.70, 1.03; P-trend = 0.10), a reduced risk of distal colon cancer was observed with increased total fiber intake (HR: 0.62; 95% CI: 0.41, 0.94; P-trend = 0.03). Protective associations were most notable for fiber originating from cereals or fruit.

And last, fiber can also delay brain aging by keep our brain young.microglia — a major type of immune cell in the brain — tend to become hyperactive and chronically inflamed with age. (19818129)

Article: https://www.hrc.org/resources/understanding-the-transgender-community

Transgenders are people whose gender identity is different from the sex assigned to them at birth.

Some of the specific issues facing the transgender community are lack of legal protection, poverty, harassment and stigma, anti-transgender violence, barriers to healthcare, identity documents.
Transgender is contrary to social norms, especially in Indonesia. In general, people still consider transgender behavior to be a deviant behavior. People use religious arguments to judge that transgender behavior is a big sin because it breaking God's law. beside of that, society does not accept differences.
While advocating continue working to remedy these disparities, change cannot come too soon for transgender people. Visibility - especially positive images of transgender people in the media and society - continues to make a critical difference for us; but the visibility is not enough and comes with real risks to our safety. That is why the Human Rights Campaign is dedicated to supporting and advocating for the transgender community, so that the transgender Americans who are and will become your friends, neighbors, coworkers and family members have the same chance to succeed and drive.

The city will no longer be one of the world’s most-congested cities as the MRT gets to be an additional option alongside the commendable commuter lines and Transjakarta buses. We agree and it can be argued that the MRT development will be positively impactful.

To begin, a single MRT train comprises six carriages which can carry up to 173,400 passengers a day. By 2024, Jakarta's MRT is expected to carry up to 430,000 passengers daily. A civilized metropolitan is finally in sight, with comfort and timely operations in mind thanks to its capacity, and without the risk of developing various ailments from having to drive for hours daily. Besides, motorized vehicle-borne pollution should be able to be reduced. Moreover, healthier environment people could be more feasibly achieved with such a technology.

In the end, Jakarta's MRT will make this city, itself Indonesia's capital, to have more effective, efficient, and healthier mode of transportation.

Salsabila Syarifah - 19818072
5. Nida Nuradzkia - 19818054
6. Elliza Fitrianti -19818036

The Danger of ECSTASY

Use of the illegal drug named Ecstasy (MDMA) has increased alarmingly in Britain over the last few years, and in 1992 the British Medical Journal claimed that at least seven deaths and many severe adverse reactions have followed its use as a dance drug. 14 deaths have so far been attributed to the drug in Britain, although it is possible that other drugs contributed to some of those deaths. While it is true that all drugs by their very nature change the way in which the body reacts to its environment and are therefore potentially dangerous, it is still unclear whether the casual use of Ecstasy is as dangerous as authorities believe. What is certain is that the drug causes distinct changes to the body which, unless understood, may lead to fatal complications in certain circumstances.

In almost all cases of MDMA-related deaths in Britain, overheating of the body and inadequate replacement of fluids have been noted as the primary causes of death. Yet in the United States, studies appear to implicate other causes since no deaths from overheating have yet been reported. It seems that normal healthy people are unlikely to die as a result of taking MDMA, but people with pre-existing conditions such as a weak heart or asthma may react in extreme ways and are well-advised not to take it.

Not all physical problems associated with the drug are immediate. Medium term and long term effects have been reported which are quite disturbing, yet not all are conclusively linked to the drug's use. Medium term effects include the possibility of contracting the liver disease hepatitis or risking damage to the kidneys. However, animal studies show no such damage (although it is readily admitted by researchers that animal studies are far from conclusive since humans react in different ways than rats and monkeys to the drug), and cases of human liver or kidney damage have so far only been reported in Britain. Nonetheless, evidence to date suggests that alcohol and Ecstasy taken at the same time may result in lasting harm to bodily organs.

Evidence that MDMA causes long-term cellular damage to the brain has, until recently, been based on experiments with animals alone; the most common method of detection is to cut out a section of the brain, and measure the level of the chemical serotonin. This is performed weeks or
months after use of a suspect drug. If the serotonin level, which is lowered as a result of the use of many drugs, fails to return to normal, then it is probable that the drug in question has caused damage to the cells of that part of the brain. Ecstasy has been implicated in causing brain damage in this way, but in most cases, the serotonin level returns to normal, albeit after a long time.

Early experiments with monkeys, in which they were found to have permanent brain damage as a result of being administered MDMA, were used to link brain damage in humans to Ecstasy use. These early concerns led to the drug being classified as extremely dangerous, and although the results of the research were doubted by some and criticised as invalid, no attempt was made to change the classification. However, the latest available data regarding permanent brain damage in humans who have taken Ecstasy regularly over many years (as little as once a week for four years) seem to justify the cautious approach taken in the past. The psychological effects of taking Ecstasy are also a major cause for concern. It is clear that the mind is more readily damaged by the drug than is the body. It is not difficult to find occasional or regular users of the drug who will admit to suffering mental damage as a result. Paranoia, depression, loss of motivation and desire, bouts of mania - all are common, and not unusual side effects of the drug.

To be fair to those who claim that Ecstasy frees the personality by removing one's defences against psychological attack, it is true that the drug can be liberating for some users. Unfortunately, the experience is likely to be short-lived, and there is always the danger is that one's normal life might seem dull by comparison. .*

Perhaps the most damning evidence urging against the use of Ecstasy is that it is undoubtedly an addictive substance, but one that quickly loses its ability to transport the mind, while it increases its effect upon the body. Yet, unlike the classic addictive drugs, heroin, opium, morphine and so on, Ecstasy does not produce physical withdrawal symptoms. In fact, because one becomes quickly tolerant of its effect on the mind, it is necessary to forgo its use for a while in order to experience again its full effect. Any substance which produces such a strong effect on the user should be treated with appropriate respect and caution.

This inflammationof the microglia is one of the main causes of memory and cognitive decline in old age. However, companies add sugar into everything in large amount. Sugar is needed to an extent for nutrition needs, but companies add excessive amount of it in products because it’s cheap and addictive. The purpose of this is to increase sales. If regulations on sugars are not applied strictly, the obesity and addiction epidemic caused by it is unavoidable.

Regulating sugar consumption could come in forms that have been successfull for tobacco and alcohol. School-based interventions has effectively lowered consumption of both. Taxing the substance also works, all processed foods that contain added sugar could have small additional taxes.
