         <title>John D. Rockefeller</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>John D. Rockefeller was born July 8, 1839, in Richford, New York. Rockefeller was the head of the Standard Oil Company and one of the world's richest men. One of his first oil refineries near Cleveland and in 1870 made the Standard Oil Company. He nearly had full control of the oil business in the U.S. but the antitrust laws were passed. Just nine years after the company broke itself into pieces and later reassembled, but were forced to separate again. <a href="http://www.history.com/topics/john-d-rockefeller">Link</a></div>]]></description>

         <title>Cornelius Vanderbilt</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cornelius Vanderbilt was born on May 27, 1794, in the Port Richmond area of Staten Island, New York. Vanderbilt was a famous industrialist who worked in railroads and shipping. He began in the passenger ferry business in New York with one boat. He eventually started his own steamship company and controlled the Hudson River traffic.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Jay Gould was born on May 27, 1836, in Roxbury, New York. Gould was a railroad builder and financier. In 1868, he became a stockbroker on Wall Street and managed stocks. He used illegal ways to issue 100 thousand shares of new stock for the Erie Railroads.          <description><![CDATA[<div>J.P. Morgan was born on April 17, 1837, in Hartford, Connecticut. One of the most powerful men of his time, Morgan was a financier of railroads and other corporations. Morgan partnered up with a Philadelphia banker named Anthony Drexel to form their firm, J. P. Morgan &amp; Company. He first married Amelia Sturges but died four months after their wedding of tuberculosis.
