         <description><![CDATA[<div>Middle Ages art had a big impact on there life, as so did religion and there was many religious pieces of art work. For example, stained glass windows where used in many of the churches (Langley, 34). They would make theses by producing primary colors by adding metallic oxides to melton glass (Langley, 34). Some stained glass windows where made from ruby red, emerald green, and sapphire blue diamonds and presented in the churches (Langley, 34).<br><br><br>Middle Ages art had some beautiful art pieces that impact on there lives. One of the being called the beautiful blue also known as bleu de ciel - "heavenly blue"  (Langley, 35). The beautiful blue, was a glass window (Langley, 35). The glass was located in in France in a cathedral many people would go to this cathedral in there daily lives (Langley, 35). This art pieces has been round since the Middle Ages and is still used to day in many of the churches.<br><br>Byzantine Art, was a type of art used in the Middle Ages that had an impact on the type of people they were. Byzantine Art was characterized by its lack of realism, but focused on the symbolism of the art (Nelson). The subject of the painting was mostly based on religion, many paintings were of Jesus and the virgin Mary (Nelson). The paintings were flat and were with no shadows and the painting were generally very serious and somber (Nelson). <br><br></div>]]></description>
