Using culture contextualizing, educators are able to explain how their teaching concepts are different in different cultures and can show the differences and similarities between cultures.

Incorporating diverse authors and historical figures from different cultures when teaching a lesson helps with cultural integration. Using literature books like "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, "The Kite Runner," by Khaled Hosseini and "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian" by Sherman Alexie, are all cultural books by great authors that shows their cultural perspectives.

Case study can be when an educator is teaching the lesson on Historical events but use that lesson in different point of views. For an example. A lesson on the American Revolution can be taught in the perspective of colonists and the perspective of Native Americans that have been impacted by this historical event.

Having guest speakers come into the class with diverse cultural backgrounds to talk to the class about their culture, the way they were raised and what they have experienced can impact the class with their social studies. Another thing is to get the community involved and organizing classroom field trips to museums or historical parks where they students can be led on a tour about the specifics of that place. This will be insightful to the student with the first-hand experience.

A teacher must get to know their students and their cultural backgrounds in order to make a true connection with their students. By showing interest in the student background, teachers can make sure they are pronouncing their names correctly and encourage students to share their cultural background with the class. Teachers can learn about important dates, traditions and holidays and recognizing them in the classroom (American University, 2019).

Creating an inclusive classroom will ensure that the students will feel safe and valued in the comfort of their class where they will feel comfortable about opening up with their personal lives and their culture. Having open conversations (with teacher facilitation) can help other students get a better understanding of their peers.

Using visual aids for the students with diverse backgrounds is a sure way to help them adapt to the classroom. Using technology and translation assistance is a strategy and a tool students can use to adapt to the classroom.

Teachers need to meet the needs of their diverse learners. Tailoring the lesson plan to meet the needs of their students is just one way that they can help their diverse learners excel in the classroom.

Creating a diverse curriculum where historical stories and figures from diverse cultures are incorporated into the lesson. Having textbooks and materials from different cultures and backgrounds will help foster a multicultural environment.

The classroom set up should have different posters and decorations of various cultures to foster a multicultural environment.

Learning some of your students' languages will show your students that you are invested into getting to know them and making them feel comfortable with you and in your classroom. Also, when speaking to the class, it is important to use words like "everyone" instead of "guys" so that a diverse representation of the classroom is being fostered.

Creating classroom norms and rules with the students will have the students feel included as they help set the rules and norms of the classroom. It is imperative that the consequences that are set from both students and teacher is upheld. Creating norms of being respected and giving respect, active listening, supportive of others, raising hands to speak, and working collaboratively, are all classroom norms in fostering an multicultural classroom (Wulandari Wulandari, 2024).
