My name is Melissa French. I am 33 years old. I grew up in Ypsilanti, moved to Ann Arbor for college, and am now in a home in Flat Rock. I have two children. A 13 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. I work for a day program that works with mentally challenged adults. I love my job, but am looking forward to growing in my career. I have two children.

I started at Monroe Community College. I am taking my last two classes at Washtenaw Community College for my associate's in human services. I have one more class at Eastern Michigan University to get my Bachelor's in Social Work. I am hoping to go for my master's in social work once I complete my bachelor's.

Bucket List

My ultimate dream is to own a homestead with a huge garden that includes fruit and vegetables. I would love to own farm animals, like cows and chickens. Some of the animals would be for meat, some for the benefits they produce, and some would be considered pets. I also plan on rescuing animals. The type of animals I would recue depends on the amount of space I have. My goal is to produce a good life for my family, while balancing a career in social work.
