My concern is retention. The students seem to forget so much when we move on to new things. Need more time to keep spiraling!!

<------- I agree! I had to show my kids how to add again using the strategies we had learned earlier this year when we talked about multi-step word problems.

My student's love for math is growing! Students who didn't attempt to show their learning in the beginning of the year are now doing so!
