I learned much stuff during this course. How to deal with customer, the terms are used in a call center, how to get through an interview, how to work with message, the course in Coursera, it was super useful and I loved it, how to create a CV and resume and strategies to face Versant test. I appreciated all these things because it's helped me with my English proficiency and you, Carlos. I would describe you as excellent couch, super intelligence and you encourage us to keep working on this gol. Thank you so much for everything. The unique suggestion for this course by me is the last of course I would rather have more time but the material and the couch was amazing.

First, thank you for this opportunity. They were quite intense days where I was able to learn different activities that I can implement to continue practicing and improving my English. For me, the most important thing was that we practice our speech and let go of fear. I think the teacher we had really understood us and always answered our questions and wants to share his knowledge. He is professional. Just one thing I must add: we need more days for studies, not just 20 days.

First I must thank the TELCOR/CARCIP program for giving me the opportunity to take this course and I must also thank the coach. These 4 weeks have been a lot of learning in the call center area. We have learned the necessary tools to become a good customer service agent. We learned about the work environment in this industry.

We acquired and strengthened new knowledge with the courses provided by the COURSERA platform, which was very helpful to learn about how to express ourselves in public, or how we should relate to customers or also skills to be technical support agents.

Overall very grateful for all the knowledge acquired and for the help and support provided by our coach.

I would have liked more that the classes (the course) had been in person, I think this way there is a greater commitment from all the beneficiaries, I do not omit to say that in my case I had problems with my computer which hindered a little the learning process.

I have studied the English B1-B2 course in 2019 and now the conversation club, and my experience is that CARCIP has the best English teachers that take care of the students learning and not just dictating a class, in this course, the teacher Carlos Mercado was an incredible facilitator for all the things we studied, it felt like we were in physical classroom but much better. I have learned a lot of things about the call centers world and also communication abilities, in all the previous courses I studied in other schools I have never noticed that a phonetical alphabet exists and it is very useful. I liked all the activities, the games, the breakout rooms, participating with classmates, and enjoyed the virtual experience first of all. Now I feel confident talking with people in English and don´t care about the level they have, that was my weakness and now I can do it without any fear. During the course, the main issue for me was the low internet connection at home, but I tried to be in all the classes and doing the most activities I can. I like to talk with my partners and notice the advance we had since Sept 1st, My favorite weeks were 3 and 4 because we had more conversation. My feedback for you guys is to keep selecting the best teachers, improving always in virtual tools (well done) and maybe for the next time or conversation club part II, extend a couple of weeks more because we enjoy the practice and we need to do it more. About the networking activities, I like both because opens the mind of a person who does not know the call centers world and also thinking in English. About Coursera, I liked the courses and the opportunity to study more than the selected. I hope to keep in contact with my classmates and practice in the next months. Thanks for everything, please count on me for future scholarships. Be well, Stay Awesome!
Stefany E

Once you wish had these opportunities that we have today? Thanks to God and good governance I was finally able to apply for one of these scholarships where I learned a lot about the world of call centers. During the month of learning, we were given an introduction to the world of call centers, we learned the different zip codes used in call centers and the different states and addresses that are commonly used, we carried out different vocalization exercises and client simulations and Customer service agent, was very enriching and gave us the basic tips to know how to act in a real case in a call center, Furthermore, we practiced sentence construction which was very challenging for me, but in the end, it was enriching, we had a recording diary to improve our oratory and we record summaries to be able to interpret a text and say it through the technique of paraphrasing.

We made our own curriculum in which the teacher provided us with a link to design it in a more aesthetic way, Further, we had to do writing work on the internet through the typing.com platform which is great, it helped me to continue improving my typing skills However, we had two large forums with special guests in which we got to know the world of call centers, even more, it was fantastic because I was able to participate and express my opinion. In addition, the Coursera course was a bit challenging despite my studies, my work, and the course itself I managed to complete the assignments infinitely, many thanks to my teacher Eliot for always supporting us and encouraging us to continue being better every day. thank God and our good government for carrying out these types of projects with the youth and urging them to be better citizens filling us with the knowledge to have a renowned Nicaragua, a Nicaraguan, unique ... original.

I have learned about the skills and techniques that are needed to work in a call center, and I have heard different experiences working in a Call Center. Further to all this knowledge, I had the opportunity to practice my speaking, listening, grammar, reading, and diction.

I felt that every activity created and designed by the couch during this course was well thought out and had a main purpose to improve our English. In every moment the Couch gave us different resources on the internet to practice and learn more. In every moment the Couch encouraged and motivated us to follow learning and practicing likewise he shared with us his knowledge and experience to reaffirm the learning. The guidance and motivation of the Couch was excellent.

Personally, due to many things that we have to leave in our daily lives (Job, family and “new reality”) I could not focus hundred percent on the course but, the time that I dedicated was highly helpful for me, in fact after this course I feel more motivated to follow my learning in English.

I feel more confident and I think the most important and reaffirms what I always thought: you need to practice, practice and practice more.
I think the activities were excellent. He feels that it was dynamic and that it was useful especially with the emphasis that was made for people who aspire to work in the telecentres. Excellent contributions that will surely help you face the challenge of the interview and naturally when you are in the field working. The teacher knows English, is fluent and has experience to deliver to the students. I value the course from 1 to 10 as 10.

I really appreciate the files the teacher shared with us, as phrasal verbs for TOEFL, Common mistakes in english, and even i have not read them all, i will take them as a gift. The course has also challenge me to be on time for classes and to make an effort to dedicate time for studying. I would like to continue if the course could be expanded, maybe 2 or 3months, or, having like one presential class per week, because in a face to face conversation, everything is different. I am definetely motivated to finis both Coursera courses and use them the best possible way. I am fascinated with Customer Service course because i work as a service coordinator, in consequence the lessons have helped me so much in my daily basis, Thanks!

Hi, there! I've read a lot of posts here about people who have learned a lot here. In my case, I wish I had more time to focus on this course and make it meaningful for me. Nevertheless, there is always a chance of learning something and I am pretty sure that I did it throughout these four weeks.

When I started this course I didn't know whether to continue or not because I thought that it aimed just the BPO's and things related. However, I decided to take it as a challenge and take the final test to see if my language skills were enhanced.

The coach provided useful resources that help us improve our language. I got engaged with IELTSACE because I realiized that I have a lot of areas of opportunity when it comes to pronunciation. Something else is that I understood is the fact that I have to continue learning vocabulary to express my ideas in a high variety of ways. This is the reason why I found the phrasal verbs interesting.

This course will help you to improve your skills, but my advice is to dedicate more time to practice the activities to boost your skills.

I have learned a lot of things that I wish I had learn the last year while I was making my call center applications, in part it's my responsabilitie for not inform myself enough about the issues of this controversial industry, and many of the knowledges that were gave me, i think they're going to be so much useful if i know how to take advantage of them. On a negative aspect, i think there is a little disorder in matter of organization, and some of the sites are not prepare enough because they used to fail sometimes; maybe is my issue because i'm not so good with technology, but i'm sure that wasn't only my case. With that say, i want to thank all people who were involved in this project, without your help for me this probably would be harder for me, and with everything said and done, thank you so much for read, good day.

So far this course had been been a great experience, it is a really good program whit a good teacher. y have learned that the best way to learn is by practicing and repeating. I learn many things about the BPO industry which is important because from my pion of view since I don't have experience it won't be so difficult to understand people's jargon in those places, so it will make it easier to start working. Also, I have improved my English skills by practicing and learning new vocabulary.

I'm grateful to be here and have this opportunity and will take advantage of it as much as I can.

R.G
