         <description><![CDATA[<p>Oldowans are the oldest known hominids appearing in Ethiopia about 2.4 million years ago.The weapons they used are about the same as a modern day chimpanzee, using rocks and tools to there advantage. They used techniques of chipping stones to create a chopping or cutting edge. most of the tools they used were created with a single blow to a rock against another to create shards of rock  in which they used as weapons.</p>]]></description>
