There is no single supplement, not supplant provision. Rather, the wording of the provision varies depending on the various statutes. In order to be in compliance with each program’s version of the supplement, not supplant requirements, LEAs must be cognizant of how the provision is applied in each specific program" (TEA, 2018, p. 1).

*Lever 1 is supported by creating and supporting Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) which are divided by department and run by a teacher within that department. PLCs are used to discuss data and curriculum.

*Lever 2 is supported at the campus level with walk-throughs and observations. A new rotating schedule has been developed this year so that administrators are seen more frequently in the classrooms, not for formal observations but just to see what is happening in the classrooms.

*Lever 3 is maintained by continuously promoting the district vision statement. At the campus level expectations are put in place and teacher are remind to hold the students accountable to those expectations.

*Lever 4 is covered through a rotation of full curriculum updating/revising and the curriculum is viewed as a "living" document so changes can be made if needed prior to a huge overhaul. Curriculum is put together by teams of teachers throughout the district to ensure it aligns with what is happening in the classroom.

*Lever 5 is utilized through the PLCs and curriculum.
