Proposed that there was force and gravity. He believed that force abided by 3 laws of motion, Inertia( a object in motion stays in motion), F=ma (force = mass x Acceleration), and Action- reaction. Isaac newton also believed that gravity is the reason why we don't float of into space. He also believed that everything had as a gravitational pull. mass of an object is the main indicator of a gravitational pull.

Galileo Galilei

Used a telescope to prove Nicolaus Copernicus theory on how the earth actually orbit the sun (The Heliocentric Theory). Went to publish a book in his and Copernicus's thoughts book before he died instead of waiting (Book name was Starry Messanger). The Catholic Church had warned him not to publish the book but he decided to do so anyways causing him to be in an inquisition trial. In the trial he was accused of Heresy (Belief that is counter to the official doctrine of a religion). Galileo decided to stop the questioning and was forgiven by the Catholic Church and put on house arrest until he eventualy passed away.

Nicolaus copernicus

Nicolaus developed the idea of heliocentric theory. heliocentric theory is the theory that the sun is the center of the solar system and that the planets revolve around the sun. He died before he published the theory so the church couldn't go after him.

William Harvey

William Harvey was an english doctor. He published a study that showed how blood circulates through the body and how the valves of the heart works. He was not tracked down by the Catholic Church because he was in England at the time and The Catholic Church was not in charge of teachings there at the time.
