All states' minimum wages should be federally controlled.
Ideally, Americans should be paid at least $8.00 per hour.
According to Forbes, most workers receiving the minimum wage are from median income families. Therefore, this does not seem like a big issue on a national scale.
Higher wages eliminates teen workers (as seen back in 2009) and unskilled workers because employers want quality out of their pay.
Forbes also explains the Law of Demand: "the higher the price of anything, the less that will be taken...". This law could potentially have a negative impact on the economy.

A subsidy for agriculture is beneficial to our nation as a whole in some aspects: managing and increasing supply simultaneously, giving farmers a consistent income, lessening the need to source food from outside boarders.

It should NOT subsidize industry because it would make it less competitive.

The government should subsidize states for their shortfall in education from K-12 and offer low-interest loans for college. There should be no national schools because the government is already making a 8% contribution to the education system. More educated citizens = more stable nation.
Education allows for:
- higher paying jobs
- higher quality jobs
- creates more innovations, helping stimulate the economy

There should be an ample number of community colleges nationwide, so those who cannot afford private colleges still have the opportunity to get an education.

The Constitution was made to explicitly state the people’s rights in the United States. Its intent is to protect people’s right in an equal and fair manner. All of these decisions are based on allowing United States citizens to have equal treatment, regardless of race, religion, gender, etc. The economy described above is meant to meet the democratic ideals set in place by the Constitution.

The government’s source of revenue was established to have an income tax instead of tariffs, which protected individuals who were forced to pay high prices for manufactured goods and received low profit from their products.

The Institute of Justice emphasizes that “...most common economic liberty... involves three clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment: equal protection, due process, and privileges or immunities." The Fourteenth Amendment forces both the state and the government to comply the same individual rights. The First Amendment also protects entrepreneurs and private businesses from direct government intervention. These are two of the many parts of the Constitution designed to protect economic rights of entrepreneurs and ensure just taxes.
