1: 1 square inch of your hand contains 600 touch sensors. I never thought that we have so many receptors in just that small amount, so its crazy to think about how many we have in our entire bodies.
2: No machine can calculate as many things that a brain does. This was interesting to me because even though we have innovated with powerful technology over the years, we have the most powerful machine on the planet;which are our brains, which are inside of us all.

1: Sensory nerves are placed where we need them the most, such as hands and facial muscles. Whats interesting about this is that if our proportions were based on touch sensitivity, our lips/face would be twice as large, and we would have ginormous hands. Looking at it in this perspective, it again allows me to think of how many neurons are in the body and how much we rely on them.
2: The second most interesting thing in the second video is how the cooling system works for our bodies. After losing too much water, our bodies actually stop sweating. I didn't know this until now, and the video taught me that our body stops sweating in order to protect our internal organs, giving them the little water we have left in our body after extreme conditions, to help keep us alive.
