         <description><![CDATA[<div><sub>A presente publicação explica como é realizado o procedimento, onde o material genético é recolhido na célula ou local para ser estudado, que geralmente é utilizado o DNA e ao ser extraído é adicionado ao pre-mix, onde estão presentes os dNTPs, sendo estas bases nitrogenadas que se ligam aos iniciadores e a enzima DNA polimerase em solução tampão, o material é levado ao termociclador, onde é aquecido e esfriado em ciclos de temperaturas pré-estabelecidos, no final a análise é feita pela eletroforese em gel de agarose ou poliacrilamida e interpretada por um profissional treinado. Hodiernamente, laboratórios de investigação médica e biológica utiliza o PCR, para a identificação de doenças hereditárias, teste de paternidade, detecção de organismos causadores de infecções e etc.</sub></div>]]></description>
